We are a small Spanish family run restaurant located in the heart of the Southampton water front, less than a 5 minute walk from some of Southampton's top hotels, docks and main shopping centre. If you fancy trying lots of different flavours, La Regata's traditional tapas selection is extensive, authentic and home made. From tortilla to octopus you are bound to find something you love. La Regata also has a comprehensive a la carte menu which offers a wide variety of meat, poultry and fresh fish dishes and of course the traditional Spanish Paella. We at La Regata the Spanish tapas bar and restaurant, Southampton also have an impressive and extensive wine list with many of your Spanish favourites combined with different wines from around the world. 

We are less than a minutes walk from the boatshow and are open all day for food and drink from 12pm to 11pm. We have a newly renovated south facing outside seating area where you can enjoy some fresh tapas, wine and sun (if there is any). Every boatshow we have a whole leg of Pata Negra iberico ham which is on show behind the bar and carved to order, this along with a galss of crisp manzanilla or fino sherry and you'll feel like your in Spain. We also specialise in fresh seafood which is delivered daily, steaks and we also do suckling pig which can feed up to 10 people, however we do need at least 24 hours notice for the suckling pig. Along with our extensive wine list, which features some award winning wines such as Muga and Emilio Moro, we also have a good selection of beers, both on draught and in bottles including Estrella Inedit which is a new cloudy beer created by the people from El Buli. It comes in large 75cl bottles and is served like a white wine to accompany fish. However it tastes great on its own too..  

We do get very busy over boatshow so i would suggest you book, however if you don't book and you don't mind having a few drinks in our bar area whilst you wait, we will always do our best to find you a table.
